Yaron Samid is an Israeli-American technology entrepreneur, investor, and startup community builder. As founder and managing partner of the TechAviv Founder Partners fund, Yaron leads investments sourced and vetted by our founder partners and activates our global network on behalf of our portfolio founders.

Yaron is the founder and CEO of TechAviv, the global Israeli startup founders club. TechAviv's private 3,000-member global network of top Israeli founder CEOs, CTOs, and investors connect on and offline to learn from and help each other. During his own entrepreneurial journey Yaron built and sold three technology companies as a founding CEO and CPO and helped two more do the same as a founding board director, creating over half a billion dollars of value for shareholders. Most recently, Yaron was the founder and CEO of BillGuard, one of the fastest-growing personal finance apps in history before its acquisition by Prosper in Oct 2015.

Yaron is the host of the Time to Build podcast, is a regular guest lecturer at Stanford and Columbia business schools, and proudly served the Obama White House as a special advisor on private and public sector innovation. What he is most proud of and grateful for, are his greatest startups; Yoav, Itai, and Yael Samid which he co-founded with the love of his life, Orly.
